Co-Founder of ProUro Berlin, APL Professor, University Hospital Magdeburg
Prof. Dr. Cash began his medical career at the Clinic for Urology, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, training under Prof. Dr. K. Miller and specializing in Urology through 2016. In 2017, he earned his Habilitation focused on MRI/ultrasound fusion-guided targeted biopsies for prostate cancer diagnostics. He went on to serve as Senior Physician and Coordinator of the Prostate Cancer Center at Charité (2016–2020), later heading BPH laser therapy, prostate imaging, fusion biopsy, and focal therapy under Prof. Dr. T. Schlomm. In 2018, Dr. Cash's group was the first in Germany to use 29 MHz high-resolution micro-ultrasound for prostate cancer diagnostics, publishing some of the earliest data on this novel imaging modality. In June 2020, he co-founded the specialized practice ProUro Berlin with Dr. Buckendahl.
