Exact Imaging has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager, Europe to help make an impact. Reporting to the VP, Global Sales, the Sales Manager, Europe is responsible for sales of the ExactVu™ micro-ultrasound platform and its associated line of accessories, ancillary products and services into the urology market.  The Sales Manager will achieve sales objectives by executing sales strategies for their defined territory and will work closely with the VP, Global Sales or other assigned manager, to achieve and grow territory revenue, installed base and develop the funnel for continued revenue growth.  The Sales Manager will execute their sales strategies through direct sales and with strong support from the Exact Imaging commercial organization.  Implementing and managing appropriate tactics and commercial systems in order to achieve the sales targets will be an integral part of the position.  Additional responsibilities will also include soliciting early customers for select Exact Imaging products in select clinical markets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Key responsibility is for generating sales activities (prospecting) and most importantly, successfully reaching or exceeding the sales target in the designated region
  • Presentation and demonstration of Exact Imaging products; average of 2 to 3 demonstrations per week to well-qualified customers; ~ 75% travel
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting for the region
  • Responsible for execution of strategic and tactical sales plans defined by the VP, Global Sales and the SVP, Marketing
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination for regional and local conferences and regional marketing activities, working in coordination with the Marketing team
  • Contribute to strategic business plans including budgets, forecasts, sales and funnel building activities
  • Build strong customer relationships and brand equity by helping clinicians be more productive and derive more insightful results through the use of ExactVu™ technologies
  • Support and participate in company’s vision toward a customer-focused, sales-driven organization
  • Feed product development including providing user feedback on current and future application and product issues, market insights, and competitive analysis
  • Clear reporting on sales progress, opportunities, and obstacles; ensure company database (via Salesforce.com) is constantly updated and current
  • Support discounting policies, market price integrity and profitability
  • Ensure information from customers about the ExactVu™ are fed back to the company (Marketing and R&D)
  • Solicit early customers for select Exact Imaging products
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

What you’ll need:

  • Secondary school diploma required; Post-secondary courses in sales or related to business is desirable
  • 4 + years progressive clinical sales management experience in medical devices, preferably in medical imaging
  • Experience in urology, oncology and/or ultrasound fields is strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the prostate and urology markets
  • Excellent understanding of ultrasound imaging technology in the clinical market and its requirements
  • Proven experience driving sales through product demonstrations
  • Experience participating in trade shows
  • Proficiency in using general office productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc) for communication and documentation purposes
  • Experience working with ISO 9001/13485 quality standard desirable
  • Management and leadership skills for future growth within the company
  • Excellent ability to successfully sell medical capital equipment
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent logistics skills
  • Ability and interest in travelling approximately 75% of working time
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs/ 20 Kg
  • Valid passport with no restrictions
  • Valid and clean driver’s license
  • Ability to set up equipment, troubleshoot as necessary
  • Ability to move heavy equipment in and out of a travel vehicle
  • Sense of urgency, self-motivated, flexible
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
